Minister for Finance, Prof Edward Scicluna addressed a seminar held at the Malta Stock Exchange, which brought together financial practitioners and industry stakeholders together with the Listing Committee of the Malta Financial Services Authority.

Having held active roles in both industry and as regulator, Minister Scicluna said he could empathise with both the regulators and those being regulated and congratulated the Malta Stock Exchange for creating a forum on within which regulators and practitioners can interact. Such interaction, he said, leads to better understanding of underlying factors which will strengthen the thriving local financial services sector.
