An ongoing dialogue is essential between the Government and high education institution officials in order to work together, said Prime Minister Joseph Muscat.

During a meeting with University of Malta rector, Dr Joseph Muscat expressed his hope that such a meeting will not be a one off but a regular occurrence, in order for the University to keep on serving as a catalyst for innovation.

University Rector, Juanito Camilleri deemed this meeting as ‘historical’, stressing the importance of the University’s role in the country’s social and economic plans to remain relevant.
