Finance Minister Prof. Edward Scicluna received a courtesy visit from Albert Isola, Minister for Financial Services and Gaming of Gibraltar, on Monday 7th April, 2014

The two ministers discussed matters of mutual interest to both countries. Among the issues discussed were Malta’s  experiences as a full member of the European Union for the past ten years, as well as Malta’s experiences as a Eurozone country.

Malta’s successes in safeguarding its financial and economic stability were also discussed, within the context of the ongoing EU-wide economic slowdown.

Minister Albert Isola was accompanied by UK representative Mr Albert Poggio OBE.
