This is the last program of the series MEP u Int. Labour MEP Prof. Edward Scicluna, who contested the General Elections of the 9 March 2013 was elected from two districts. He must therefore give up his seat in the European Parliament on his taking his least in the local National Parliament. Last Wednesday (13th March) the Prime Minister Dr Joseph Muscat appointed him Minister for Finance.
During this program Prof Scicluna talks about the wonderful experience that these last four years have been and how this experience as Vice President of the ECON Committee will be applied when he is working as Minister of Finance .
Prof Scicluna thanks all those who have shown trust in him and explains how he would like to keep in touch with the people.

Il-programm ta’ din il-ġimgħa huwa tal-aħħar minn din is-serje minħabba li l-Ewroparlamentari Laburista il-Professur Edward Scicluna li kien qed jikkontesta l-Elezzjonijiet Ġenerali tad-9 ta’ Marzu 2013 ġie elett minn żewġ distretti u għalhekk irid iċedi postu fil-Parlament Ewropew biex ikun jista’ jaħdem fil-Parlament lokali issa lil-Prim Ministru Dr Joseph Muscat wera fiduċja fih billi appuntah Ministru tal-Finanzi.
F’dan il-programm Prof Scicluna jitkellem fuq l-esperjenza sabiħa li kellu dawn l-aħħar 4 snin u kif din l-esperjenza speċjalment għaliex kien Viċi President tal-Kumitat ECON se ssarraf ta’ ġid f’ħidmietu bħala Ministru tal-Finanzi.
Prof Scicluna jirringrazzja lil dawk kollha li wrew fiduċja fih u jispjega kif jixtieq ikompli jżomm il-kuntatt mal-poplu.
