‘There is a lot of uncertainty in this budget. We want to give peace of mind to everyone and will retain the framework of the Budget. People are fed up, they want somebody to give them hope’.
Labour MEP and candidate for the 5th and 8th district Professor Edward Scicluna made this statement on Saturday 24th November during the TVM2 Current Affairs programme ‘Dissett’ presented by Reno Bugeja. Minister Chris Said was also invited to discuss the Budget which will be presented. Professor Scicluna said that is not the usual Budget. Someone had to assume responsability and Labour Leader Joseph Muscat is putting everyone’s mind at rest. Prof Scicluna answered questions about the thorough European budget negotiations, the energy, poverty and other current issues.

Minbarra l-baġit l-Prof Scicluna wieġeb mistoqsijiet dwar in-negozjati dwar il-baġit Ewropew, l-enerġija, il-faqar u suġġetti oħrajn.
